Here at First Class Electronic Recycling (FCER), we believe in the value of Recycling. Our goals are to recycle everything that comes through our doors, and to save companies time and money on the disposal of items. Each of our items are broken down and separated into different categories.
These categories include, but are not limited to, plastic, steel, circuit boards, wires, batteries, lead, transformers, and/or electric motors, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass and CRT tubes. These items are then dispersed as recyclables between a number of authorized refineries/smelters.
We ask that all valuable/sensitive information be “scrubbed” from your items. All of our hard drives are torn apart by hand, removing the back plate and the chip board, leaving the hard drive in a less desirable state for would be thieves. We also take a drill press and punch a hole through the plate, leaving all information rendered un-retrievable. At this time, we are in search of a smelter that we can ship the hard drives, after tear down, to directly eliminate all “middlemen.” Thus insuring the security of all sensitive information.
There are times when our volume is too high for us to break down each and every single item. When this happens, these items are instead shipped whole to an authorized dealer. Hard drives are excluded from this as they are always torn down completely.
We are currently testing certain items for re-sale with the exception of hard drives. The sale of these items help offset the overhead and help ensure our ability to continue free disposal. We have recently been expanding into online sales. These are items that have certain precious metal content. Anything from gold to palladium is removed from certain items and sold in bulk. These are all pieces of certain items that are removed. These are not whole in any way, or re-usable in any aspect other than smelting purposes.
Thank you for considering us for your disposal needs.
Sincerely,
Marcus Glessman, Owner
